Awards Season is Here Again

With the advent of a new year, the awards season of the Indian film world also takes off. The 1st award of the year should be the Star Screen Awards followed by the mighty Filmfare Awards.
I just hope that the critics as well as the public voters don't get swayed by the popularity of the songs while choosing for the best playback singers.
We must all vote for the quality of singing and not for the popularity of a song or the lavishness of picturisation.
Shreya Ghoshal has to win awards for the outstanding singing she has done thru this year too. We must all ensure that songs like "Munni..." and "Sheila.." don't get awards for their singers.
