There is super news for SG fans all over. DNA INDIA ranked Shreya Ghoshal as #41 in its list of INDIA's TOP 50 POWER WOMEN. The list was released on 8th of March, 2010!DNA (Diligent Media Corporation)
Sonia Gandhi tops the list. Lata Mangeshkar is at #4 while Asha Bhonsle is at #9. Saina Nehwal is # 39. Priyanka Chopra is at 20th position while Ashwariya is at 19.
Its noteworthy that besides Asha Bhonsle, Lata Mangeshkar & Shreya Ghoshal, no other Indian singer features in the power list. This, I feel, is a great achievement for someone who is still 26 years of age and still raring to go and conquor the music world.
So our diva's star power & women power is finally being recognised, officially!!Kudos to our princess, Shreya Ghoshal.
