"...and I have come to envy him..." Shreya speaks

Shreya Ghoshal was the major attraction at Sunday's line-up for the Bandra Festival. Recalling her live show at Bandra Fort at the recent Durga Puja, Shreya said she hoped to replicate its success at the Bandra Festival. "Of course, the fort had a small, intimate gathering. This is such a vast ground that it may be less interactive,'' she said before the performance. "But I have put all my popular film songs on the list and I hope the audience enjoys them.''

Interestingly, although Shreya is "really attached to Chembur'' where she lives, she will soon move to Bandra. "Bandra is the best place to live,'' she laughs. "Like Chembur, there is a lot of greenery in many parts, and there are so many wonderful places to go shopping as well. Singer Shaan, who is a dear friend, is a dyed-in-the-wool Bandraite and I have come to envy him. Now I plan to buy a home here soon.'' Her musical introduction to her new neighbourhood was surely a friendly start.

So, we will soon find Shreya in her new state of the art house in a Bandra locality. All the best to her and congrats in advance.
