The fourth Idea 'Zee Astitva Awards 2008' were announced at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai recently. The award was initiated to recognize the strength and achievements of the new age Indian woman.
The show held in Noida on September 16, was marked by performances from Shreya Ghoshal, Rani Mukherjee, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sajid Khan, Raju Shrivastav, Television stars, SRGMP singers, and others.
Shreya Ghoshal sang an impromptu “barso re megha” on public demand. Needless to say, the fair dame almost drowned in the applause that followed.
Seems to be a Whirlwind time for Shreya - 14th she was performing at Sydney and 16th at Noida and 20th she'll be again in the 'down under' to perform at Melbourne!
We wish her umpteen successes in life.
